He was born in Vescovana (Padova), Italy, on december 7th 1948. He completed the primary and secondary studies in Este and Rovigo where he obtained the school leaving scientific certificate. He attended the University of Ferrara, Padova and Venezia, where he achieved two five-year degrees in Architectural-Building Engineering and in Architecture, and here he qualified to practise both professions (A-Architect, Urbanist Planner, Landscape Painter, Conservator / A-Architectural Building, Environmental, Industrial and Information Technology Engineering). He keeps the specific archives of Carlo Scarpa's designs because from 1975 he personally frequented the Master, in his house-office in Vicenza, who dedicated many hours of his very limited time to him. He professionally works from 1974 in the fields of the architecture, of the building restoration, applied to the conservation and to the valorization of the cultural heritages of international importance, and of the design. |
